As part of looking towards the future and a safer working environment DMJ Engineering strives to ensure all employees are trained to a good level of competency in all areas of work.

We have an internal Health and Safety Co-ordinator and an external body which we use for technical advice and training. All of our employees as a minimum hold a CSCS Construction Skills Certification Scheme, Health and Safety card .With others holding CPCS Construction Plant Competence Scheme cards, for the operation of 360 Excavators, Telehandlers, Banks man Slinger Signalers and Appointed Persons for the Planning and operation of all sized mobile cranes.

Also some personnel have IPAFF Operative cards for the safe use of mobile access platforms.

Along with the plant competence training, all operatives are competently trained in the safe erection of mobile scaffolding towers accredited by PASMA.

We also carry trained Confined Space ops and equipment. All employees have attended a manual handling, vibration white finger and ladder safety awareness course during their time with DMJ Engineering.

As a company DMJ Engineering has enrolled as a member of the Zero Harm initiative being run by Balfour Beatty Engineering a large Blue chip construction company, working towards a better safer working environment for the employee and employer.
